I have a dove that I carry with me everywhere I go. My first tattoo. I got it three summers ago now. My friend, Karla, and I chose to get tattoos on a whim. I had a different "dove" picked out but the guy at the tattoo parlor called it the "google bird" and said that everybody had it. So I searched around for what I found to be the perfect tattoo.
To me, it stands for peace and love...which are what doves represent. I was going through a tough time in my life that summer. I was broken and trying to stay together. It was everything I was striving for, peace and love, and everything that I always want to represent in myself.
