Weddings in 2014

2014 consisted of 5 weddings (including our own).

The wedding festivities began for us in April with my dear elementary friend in a beautiful conservatory with a glass gardenhouse on a rainy, happy day.

Kylie and I attended my coworker's sister's wedding in the gorgeous National Churchill Museum, with an outdoor pavilion reception that followed.

Mine and Keane's wedding came in June, on a rainy summer day, which turned out to be everything I could have hoped for.

Keane's nephew married his high school sweetheart in late September in a gorgeous setting of a hayfield field and a reception at a vineyard.

My cousin married in early November on a beautiful sun-shining day that was joyous, family-filled, and lovely!

Much love to all!

Plans - Wedding Planning via iPhone Pics (Part X)

Up until a few days before the wedding I kept checking the weather.  It seemed like it was going to be wonderful weather.  Except, every few days there were chances of rain.  This chance of rain stayed a few days prior to the wedding, at which time I stopped looking at the weather.  And rain it did on our wedding day, but the good Lord stopped the rain so that we could have our perfectly planned outdoor wedding after all.

Keane spent the entire days before the wedding mowing and prepping the lake for the wedding!  He spent a lot of time and hard work, making it just right!

And I was appreciative!

We counted down the days!  And picked up our marriage certificate!

Oh, and of course us girls got our nails done!

Rings & Invitations - Wedding Planning via iPhone Pics (Part IX)

Here are some close-up photos of our rings!

Here is the invite I made for my Bridal Shower.

Which was inspired by this Pinterest-find.

This is our Wedding Invitation designed by my sister and created by me.

And our wedding program, before it was complete with:

Decor - Wedding Planning via iPhone Pics (Part VIII)

I spent a lot of time making these paper fans.  Which turned out to not really be necessary since it rained the day of the wedding, cooling the temperature.  But I think they still turned out nice.

One of my favorite projects were these wooden "Wedding" signed Keane put up at each of the turns on the gravel roads leading to our family lake!

I ordered this photobook (for free with a coupon) at Shutterfly.  We used it as our Guest Book, and it included our engagement photos as a keepsake as well.

Keane and I rescued this beautiful wooden barrel from his grandparents' barn and I shoved it full of fake, white flowers!  It became a décor at the wedding welcome table.
