Happy Birthday, sweet baby girl. Sometimes you like to be called Baby and sometimes you say you are a big girl, which you very much are. You are independent, beautiful, calm, smart, fearless, and silly.
I like when you see something that matches and you say, "Cheers!" You are completely in love with Paw Patrols ("Paw Folz") and Zuma is your very favorite. You know all their sayings and you love to line up your toys and say all of the Paw Patrol things. You even requested that Daddy play you a Paw Patrols song while playing the guitar last night and he sang all their quotes for you and you absolutely loved it!
We had a leopard print birthday party for you because it matches your blankie ("blanksie"). It was tough to plan it when everyone could be there between ball practices and games and farming and augur breaking and school, but we made it happen. Every time I'd ask you want you wanted for your birthday, you'd answer, "Macaroni," so we had a macaroni bar, and gifts of course!
You got some bubbles and a hair-cutting Playdough set from Kaden's girlfriend, McCailyn. You got color your own squishy pets and a wooden camera that changes lenses from Uncle Kollin. You got a big owl chair from Grandma and Grandpa Brooks. You got a Little Live Pets Fish toy and cute yellow romper outfit from Aunt Kimberly, Uncle Lonnie, and McCoy. You got the mini Dino Rescue Paw Patrol cars and a Zuma toy from Nana and Papa McCoy. From us you got white Crocs, a Tracker and Ryder Paw Patrol toy, a metal llama tea party set, and Paw Patrol pajamas and bedding!
We hope so much that you always keep your sweet spirit. You like to point out when you are being good. "I not crying." "I being nice." "I going to sleep, Daddy, see?" We usually have to name all of your friends at Grandma Judy's, all of the Paw Patrol pups, and all of your family when we say your bedtime prayer. You are doing great with potty training. You never had your own interest in it but we are working hard and you are getting good about going potty, especially poop! We still wear diapers or pull-ups when we go to sleep or go somewhere besides home but I think you'll be ready in August (I hope so at least)!
We made a tough-for-me decision to send you to preschool this fall even though you'll be pretty young. We really love you being at Jesus' Little Lambs and we love Grandma Judy so much but we will have all four kids at the school for one year and it will be convenient and nice to have everyone in one building.
The way you say certain things are the cutest! Like “tute” for cute and how you end words like door, more, floor like “more-ah,” “door-ah,” and “floor-ah.”
You’re so cute, sweet, calm, smart, and perfect. We are excited you are finally “wee!”
