Augusta Update

I just love the things she says and does and I want to remember this two-year-old Augusta. Two may forever be my favorite age. Between ban-baid and “almost yet,” her words are the cutest.

Love this girl to pieces. She’s quick to say sorry, like when she destroyed my folded laundry pile, “I’m suwwy, Mommy. I not do it again.” She is quiet-natured but can really use her words when she wants to. She watches her sisters and brother very closely and when you least expect it, she’ll break out in a “Tiktok dance” or call someone a silly name like they do (it was toots this morning) or scare them like a monster. She’ll tell me there’s a dinosaur somewhere in the house that I’ll fend off for her. She loves puzzles, Paw Patrol, baby dolls, feeding our cats, and being outside. She loves to quietly play by herself and she runs and hides yelling “come find me!” 🧡

“What happened, Mama?”

“Mama, my milk not working.”

“Farrah, come with me. Get up!”

“I got an idea!”

On pretend call: “Hi Grandma Judy, how you doing? Okay, bye bye, see you ‘morrow!”

“Knock, knock”

Who’s there?

“Umm...car.”

Car who?

“Beep beep, honk honk.”

“I watch Peppa Pig on you phone.”

“Krinkle, krinkle, little sarrrr...”
