Farrah's Awesome

Farrah has been awesome lately.  And she also calls things (like Daddy) awesome lately.  Keane and I took her out to eat Saturday evening and she, for the very first time, was great the whole time.  She wanted a high chair, and she sat in it the entire time, eating well, talking with us, never needing any toys or distractions!

She has cuddled with us two different nights and once for a nap time, watching Daniel Tiger in our room, and falling asleep in Daddy's arms after the TV gets turned off.

She has wanted Daddy to put on her (same dang pair) of jamas each night, and requesting that he do things like get her milk, diaper change, and Daddy push you (on the swing).

I still rock her to sleep for naps and bedtime; I'm not ready to give that up just yet, even though she's running out of room on my lap in our rocking chair.  She is extremely into book reading as of lately.  "What's the Opposite" is likely her favorite at the moment.  She points to each picture and says, Mama?  And I have to tell her what it says.

Mama? with squinted eyes.  That's what she says when she hears a noise, any noise, that she wants to know what is the source.  We hear an airplane.  Mama?  We hear the ice maker.  Mama?  I love it and her inquisitive mind.  She'll see something interesting to her, like specs of dirt on the carpet, and ask Whas is it?!

Watching Uncle Kollin play baseball!
