Fall Kick Off
Fall is here and I was ready for it this year. I think the slow-down-just-a-wee-bit portion of it I was ready for. Summer is fun, and has always been my favorite season, but it's busy and hectic and constantly full of going and doing, and doing and going. Maybe the entire year is, but this summer was full. Fun, but full. I think it's the mobile toddler that also keeps me feeling like life is constantly a "go."
Anyway, with fall comes school and a shift in activities. Kaden played football for junior high this year and had 6 games (they came out with a record of 5-1), and now Kylie is currently playing basketball and Kaden is practicing for junior high basketball that begins soon.
Bow season is currently here and soon is youth gun season and soon thereafter regular gun season. My hunting is halted for some time, and I'm okay with that. Farrah is here and now Kaden and Kylie are both hunting. Keane said that something he would like to do when the kids are out of the house is for us to both hunt again.
The weather has cooled some, but has warmed back up again, and I'm happy with that type of fall. Fall colors and smells, fall activities, and warmer weather...heck yeah. The leaves are turning and falling and there are fall decorations everywhere you look, and it's pretty, it really is. The holidays are around the corner, and while I look forward to them, I'm also enjoying the time before the hectic actually gets here.
Fall outfits and pies and baking...just all pieces of heaven on this Earth.
