Halloween 2014

This year for Halloween Kaden was finally Frankenstein, which he wanted to be last year but we had trouble finding a mask in time.  This year, Keane ordered one in plenty of time!  Kylie was going to be a cowgirl and at the last minute she decided to be a basketball player.

McCoy was Handy Manny and my sister was a scarecrow, and my brother was a Red Disappearing Morph Man -- it was awesome.

We took the kids trick-or-treating and at first they walked slowly to each house and nervously and quietly said "trick or treat."  By the end of the evening, they were dashing to the houses and coming back laughing.  It just took them some time to warm up, but they absolutely loved it.  We ended the evening by eating supper (pizza) in the car and trick-or-treating at my parents and visiting with them and my brother and a couple of his friends.

Saturday was opening day of youth season.  Keane and Kaden woke up dark and early and headed to the woods.  Kylie and I joined my mother and attended my cousin Kara and Donald's wedding.  It was an outdoor wedding, and the weather turned cold, but the day was gorgeous with the sun shining and keeping us warm enough through the ceremony.  It was such a beautiful, fall-adorned wedding with the happiest bride!

The boys hunted again in the evening, and when we got home, we made burgers and watched hunting shows before bed.

More to come on our wonderful weekend.
