She made these delicious, perfect, my-favorite wedding mints months prior to the wedding, in our wedding colors, and froze them. They were so good on the wedding night. I wish I would have eaten more and more of them.

I had this wedding cake in mind, and my mother did such a great job making it just this way.
I used Keane's wood burning kit from when he was a kid to write "love" into a wooden slab. I hot glued it to a larger piece of wood, along with a couple flowers. This was our cake topper. Free and simple, yet beautiful and fitting.

I picked up this lace cupcake wrappers, and my mom made chocolate cupcakes to go along with the wedding cake.

She also made Keane's groom's cake. A yellow cake with chocolate icing, and I spray painted an antler gold to go on top! This was yet another Pinterest idea found here (except their antler was left natural).
